Compassion

At Saratoga Presbyterian Church, we recognize that we have been blessed in many ways, and it’s a joy for us to be able to care for others out of the same kind of compassion that God extends to us every day. Whether it’s to people in our own community or around the world, one of the most important things we do is to reach beyond ourselves and care for others by serving them.

We serve in three areas: within our community--local outreach, around the world--global outreach, and within the church.

No matter what our circumstances, God has called us to serve. As it is written in Galations 5:13-14 (NIV), “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another humbly in love.  For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
