LifeWind International (formerly Medical Ambassadors International) is a Christian organization transforming communities around the world by addressing the root causes of poverty, disease, and hopelessness. Its multi-national staff work in rural villages and urban slums, empowering local leaders to address their community's problems successfully, and equipping other organizations to do the same. LifeWind serves people with the greatest need in 70 countries including those in Africa, South America, and elsewhere, through Community Health Evangelism (CHE). Through CHE, local leaders are trained and equipped to solve problems such as high infant mortality, poor nutrition, disease, poor economic development, and spiritual hunger.
