Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF), a Presbyterian mission, demonstrates the gospel of Jesus Christ by supporting healing ministries as an arm of the International Health Ministries program of the PC(USA). It coordinates ministries in international health and development in over 30 countries worldwide, working to alleviate the causes of ill health among God’s poorest people such as the children orphaned by AIDS in Malawi in sub-Saharan Africa. Another example of an MBF supported mission is Memorial Christian Hospital in Sialkot, Pakistan, where our missionaries Rev. Jim Brees and Dr. Carol Brees serve in partnership with the Presbyterian Medical Board.
