Within the Church

If you feel that God is calling you to serve in one of these areas, or if you have a talent that you don’t see specifically listed but would like to share, please let us know—stop by the Information Table before or after services on Sunday mornings, or contact the reference listed below.

Hospitality: Do you enjoy making others feel welcome? If you’d like to help welcome members and visitors to SPC by greeting, serving coffee, or staffing the information table on Sunday mornings, please contact hospitality.

Publicity: Do you have strong communications skills? If you’d like to help on an as needed basis to develop banners, posters, website text, bulletin boards to share information on what’s happening within SPC, please contact publicity.

Children’s Ministry: Do you have an interest in helping children learn and grow in the knowledge of God in a fun environment? Are you enthusiastic, flexible, with an ability to volunteer on Sunday from 10:00-11:30 am at least one Sunday per month? Please contact Erica (Eeka) McLeod if you are interested.

Worship Arts: Would you like to use your voice, an instrument, or technical skills in our worship services on Sunday mornings? If you have a talent or skill that you’d like to share along with a love of worship, please contact Kevin Friesen (traditional service) or Steve Young (contemporary service).

Prayer: If you have a heart for praying for those in need and would like to participate in praying for the needs of the congregation and the community, please email prayer.

Facilities: If you enjoy serving others and have general handiwork or gardening skills and would like to help maintain SPC facilities and outdoor flower gardens, please contact Susan Griggs.
